This amazing Scout was made by the Swiss Young Guns duo, Nik Heer and Fabian Witzig who invested 700 hours of work in their workshop, in the small village of Rapperswil, just south of Zurich, to turn this machine into a real sprint racer.
The bike’s lines were completely redesigned and made thinner to result in better flow and decrease her weight to 198 kg.
The suspensions have been replaced by a UPSD front fork and a pair of Öhlins shock absorbers. The braking is operated by three oversized discs, equipped with magnificent GP-RX Brembo calipers at the front. The wheels have been replaced by 17-inch Excel rims that are better suited to spirit of the machine.
The engine is a V-twin 1133cc souped-up with a Wizard of NOS Kit tuned by Swissauto, injecting nitrous oxide to deliver an incredible 186.5 hp. The beautiful 2-in-1 exhaust line was made by Akrapovic. Speed select is reversed to achieve quicker gear changes. The end result of this project backed by Indian Motorcycle is impressive. The Scout is all set to line up 200-metre races (1/8 mile), such as the Café Racer Festival in France, the Punks Peak race in Spain and the Glemseck 101 in Germany, and to attempt new records!
