After announcing the launch of the 2017 Roadmaster and Chieftain models with the new ingenious Ride Command navigation system, the leather-wrapped Roadmaster Classic was next to be shown. Continuing to foster a culture of excellence, Indian Motorcycle recently announced the addition of the magnificent
Chieftain Elite and Chieftain Limited. Here is a review of the troops!
CHIEFTAIN LIMITED
The Limited edition of the Chieftain, boasts a new style, with a magnificent 19″ contrast cut 10-spoke front wheel. This is protected by a fender that breaks with the traditional lines of the brand, highlighting the wheels and the fork. The 16-inch rear wheel matches this design. The beautifully streamlined contrast-stitched reinforced leather two-up seat also enhances this new Limited look.

CHIEFTAIN ELITE
Only 350 models of the Chieftain Elite were produced. A show-stopper of beauty and style, the bike is the epitome of premium design and rare into the bargain. It is fitted with a magnificent 19″ contrast cut 10-spoke front wheel and an open fender, in the spirit of 1920s and 1930s models. The 16-inch rear wheel matches this design. The signature mark of the Elite is in a series of details in the trims, with the seat matching the dazzling custom candy red, marble accent graphics. The handsome bodywork on each of the Chieftain Elite bikes is painted entirely by hand, in a seven-step process, by the highly skilled and talented team at the Spearfish paintshop in South Dakota.
ROADMASTER CLASSIC
This version of the Roadmaster is wrapped in vintage-style distressed tanned leather, with leather driver and passenger seats, saddlebags and a magnificent top case integrating a passenger backrest, all combined with the latest technology to give you the ride of your life.
